I'm in AP Studio as most of my true followers know, and that means I have to do a great number of projects in a short amount of time.

I came across a dilemma in my next piece, and that has to deal with culture.

I want to respect the Native American culture, and at the same time I would like to make an Indian Headdress. It will NEVER be worn, it's  that strictly for show, and I realize I did not earn my feathers in the cultural aspects, but I have exhibited the bravery and honor to earn them. I know I am female, but as I wouldn't be wearing it I feel torn. It would be an incredible project to add to my portfolio, and it would honor my own heritage, which is a large part of what my portfolio is based on. I am honoring my memories, but there are a lot of people out there who are strongly against the making and wearing of any Native American art by people who are not 100% a part of the culture.

I have two days to get myself sorted out, and I have no idea what to do.
